While SAffas love to buy and enjoy the well known Ouma's Rusks (who doesn't like to 'dip 'n Ouma?') there's something a bit special about home made rusks. For those not in the know, rusks are kind of like biscotti, and a much loved South African treat.

A call has been made on the world to sing a special Happy Birthday song for former President Nelson Mandela on his 94th birthday. The international icon celebrates his birthday on Wednesday, 18 July. The day has been declared “International Mandela Day”.
