Yet another swimmer fell victim to a shark attack at Clovelly (far end of Fish Hoek beach) in Cape Town this morning.

Did you know that the businesses in the area of the junction of Main and Kommetjie Roads Fish Hoek are located on what was the farmyard of Fish Hoek Farm which existed from 1818 til 1918 until sold off as plots? And that in earlier times the farm was sub-divided into "The Great Whalery", "The Harring Fishery" and "Kleintuin"?
