When you think of Century City in Cape Town, what springs to mind? I picture some serious retail therapy fueled by regular cappuccinos, while Dad and the kids get rid of some energy at the noisy Ratanga Junction. The words 'haven' or 'sanctuary' don't apply unless they're referencing a luxury spa.

South Africa strikes gold! For the 32nd time The South African National Biodiversity Institute’s (SANBI’s) 2012 Kirstenbosch – SA entry at the prestigious RHS Chelsea Flower Show (CFS) in London was awarded a gold medal causing great jubilation amongst the hardworking team and sponsors.

Trevor Hutton, a South African freediving champion and former world record holder, and Lesley Rochat, Executive Director of AfriOceans Conservation Alliance, also known as the Shark Warrior because of her passionate efforts in shark conservation, have teamed up in a unique shark awareness campaign named Deep Freedive for Sharks.
