The past week has been filled with very interesting wildlife interaction and sightings.
One of our rangers witnessed the two Cheetahs in the Southern Section of the reserve, tackle a juvenile Blue Wildebeest for a period of an hour.
An amazing series of photographs were captured during this struggle, which clearly indicated that the prey species, which was targeted, was a bit big, though eventually the animal was subdued, only to be fed on once the Cheetah had regained some energy back.
Prey species of this size, have been recorded, being killed by Cheetah, though were there is more than one of them, otherwise species smaller than Impala are a more manageable preferred size.
