Trevor Noah takes on the USA

One of SA's best loved comedians, Trevor Noah, took a studio audience on Jay Leno's legendary Tonight Show by storm last week.

Noah was invited to appear on the show after being spotted by a talent scout during a regular gig at an LA based comedy club. He went up against 20 other comics and hit the weet spot with the judges and next thing he knew he was standing in front of Leno, actress Glenn Close and a global TV audience, and on the receiving end of a stand up ovation after his 6 minute slot.

The Tonight Show has launched the careers of other comedic superstars like Jerry Seinfeld and Chris Rock so this is a BIG deal for the funnyman from Jozi.

Noah has been living Stateside since he moved to California in June 2011.

The move, and lots of hard work, is obviously paying off!

Doesn't seem like the press release is fully shown at that link. Don't see any nmetion of selling names or a link to the names. Just ends on the grandfather of domains' stuff?
