Posted Thu, 1 Dec (6 months ago)

Calling all runners. Here's a great opportunity to get your runnign shoes on and raise funds for a Wineland's children's home.

The first Taalmonument Night Race, presented in collaboration with the Historium Conference Centre and Paarl Athletics Club, takes place on Wednesday 14 December 2011, at the Taalmonument in Paarl. The race is held in aid of Andrew Murray House, a Wellington orphanage. Drakenstein Municipality is one of the main sponsors of the event.

The race, held in accordance with the rules of Athletics South Africa and Athletics Boland, replaces the popular Simonsvlei race on the racing calendar and follows an exciting and challenging new route.
