Long before the days of TV shows such as
Strictly Come Dancing and other celebrity ballroom dance-offs was
Shall We Dance. Now in its
18th year this glitzy Ballroom and Latin American dance extravaganza will once more enchant audiences in
Durban.
If you are in Durban next week, you simply cannot miss your chance to see the incredible dance spectacular Shall We Dance.
With some the very best dancers from all over the region as well as featuring top award-winning performers, this night emphasizes the glitz and glamour that is Ballroom Dancing and Latin American Dancing and on the night you'll even be wowed with some Indian Classical, Hip Hop, Modern, Ballet, Bollywood, Argentian Tango and American smooth all thrown into the mix to promise you a wonderful evening of Dance.
There is definitely something for everyone and looking after you this year, your host is once again East Coast Radio’s Damon Beard. Included in the list of celebrities you can look forward to seeing are the fabulous illusionist Ricki Gray and much loved singer Shelley MacLean, as well as Thapelo Ramathlape and Nombulelo Hlathi, SA Champions in the South American Showdance Section.
Shall We Dance began it's annually sold-out performances back in 1991. This wonderful show is presented by the Playhouse Company in association with the South African Dance Teachers’ Association. It is directed by Neville Letard and Caryl Cusens.
