Back when we started looking at the participating Confed Cup teams and selecting our choice for Team Hottie each week in the Countdown to the 2009 Confederations Cup here in South Africa we kicked things off with our very own...

And who was our choice for South Africa's Team Hottie?

 

None other than man of the moment, BERNARD PARKER, who scored the two awesome goals in last night's Confed Cup match against New Zealand (their score was what again...? Oh that's right - Zero :-))

 

 

 

 

And there were more than a few grumbles from those who questioned Bafana coach Santana's decision to put Parker in the team but now he's the Local Hero.

 

Which just goes to show, Portfolio knows a winner when we see one - Parker scores on looks as well as skill.
