Sightings update: As we enter Spring, the reserve is a buzz with life, and there are hopes that we will received some deserved rain during the months of September through to November, which over the past couple of years have been good months.

This weeks sightings have been focused on the beauty of Pumba Private Game Reserve, and what it has to offer, concerning it uniquenes and diversity of species and scenery.

An interesting encounter was had with a Monitor Lizzard, which are quite common on the reserve, and extremely hardy particularly regarding its sought after diet requirements, of which snakes are one. The Lizzard allowed us to view it a close quarters as it foraged in the undergrowth looking for prey, enabling us to capture this unique sequence of photographs.

The White Lion continue to amaze all who manage to get sightings of them, with them successfully bringing down a Blue Wildebeest near one of the dams in the southern section of the reserve.
