Posted Wed, 21 Sep 2011 (8 months ago)

Touted as 'The biggest boekjol the City has ever seen', Open Book Festival has come to Cape Town and readers and writers alike are all abuzz with excitement.

With events such as live readings, author interviews, launches and discussions at various venues across the Cape Town City Bowl and surrounds including museums, restaurants, book stores and libraries, the idea of Open Book is to bring literature to the people in a whole new, interactive way, on a large scale, ensuring something for everyone.

A special Youth Programme comprising events at selected schools will take place on the Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of Open Book. These events are closed to the public unless by special arrangement.
