If, like me, you are a beer drinker who really loves the taste and flavour of a fine brew, you have got to try the locally micro-brewed Jack Black Beer.
The first time I encountered Jack Black was at a function at the ultra cool Grand Daddy Hotel in Long Street, Cape Town last year, and it was love at first sip.
Since then Jack and I have enjoyed intimate encounters at more and more local pubs, bars and restaurants in and around Cape Town - both bottled and on tap.
Our meeting places to date have included the relaxed
Café Roux in Noordhoek, trendy
Café Sofia in Kloof Street and amidst the artsy crowd at the
Neighbourgoods Market at the Biscuit Mill, Woodstock, this past weekend. (see image below right, Ross serving up pints of the good stuff)
According to the
Jack Black website, their
Premier Lager is made with only the finest natural ingredients and has
no additives. The
s-l-o-w brewing process results in full bodied aromas and a clean, refreshing taste.
You can become a fan of Jack Black Premier Beer on
Facebook and follow
@JackBlackBeer on twitter to keep up to date with their news.
Disclaimer: I am not in any way affiliated to the makers or retailers of Jack Black Beer – it’s just such an awesome, yummy, local drink that I think it deserves all the publicity it can get!
