How to Ace the Argus if you're a Girl

The Pick 'n Pay Cape Argus Cycle Tour is but 2 days away and the experts say it's too late to do anything at this stage for participants to improve their chances of doing well. Actually, they're wrong - if you're a girl.

Here's how to totally ace the Argus in 3 simple steps.

1. Find the exact time that Hollywood hotty Matt Damon is planning on starting the race.

2. Get to the starting line-up early enough to locate him (be prepared to fight your way through all the other women reading this)

3. Follow those tight buns encased in Lycra all the way round the route.

You will feel no pain - even over Suikerbossie - and will be able to draw on huge amounts of energy reserves just to keep those glutes in your sites.

Yes, rumours are now confirmed that Matt Damon will be participating in the Argus - inspired by Francois Pienaar - the man he will be portraying in the upcoming movie based on the 1995 World Cup which is being filmed in Cape Town this month.

His training for playing the part of the former Springbok rugby star is sure to stand him in good stead on race day.

Pienaar himself is taking things to a whole other level by climbing Kilimanjaro this week and getting back in time to cycle in the Argus on Sunday.

This blog post was inspired by an sms to Aden on Cape Talk this morning :-)
