The
House of Mandela wine company has been launched in the USA by the former statesman’s daughter Makaziwe Mandela, and granddaughter Tukwini Mandela,last week.
Currently, the wine can be bought online and is also available in China, Brazil, Europe and Africa. Prices range from R47.95 to R264.95.
Tukwini Mandela told the press, "The wine movement is growing and more people are experiment[ing] with wine beyond spirit drinks. There's a large segment of the black community who are interested in wine."
The company's website highlights the importance of the wine industry in South Africa.
