"On my way to Franschhoek yesterday for assessment, I passed a farm, and saw a cow in the process of giving birth.I saw the cow and realized that something was up, by the two legs starting to stick out! I had about 30 minutes extra time, so turned around, and watch the whole birth play off in front of me.
It was rather special to witness the mother doing this all by herself with no human assistance.
So who said the Winelands is just about tasting wine and good food?? If you take the time to look around while driving, you can witness something very beautiful."
