Green Mamba Found at Umdloti

This 1.8m green mamba was found in a residential garden in Umdloti, KZN. Impressive!

The home owner says:

"It was a green mamba - 1.8m long. They are very timid and stay in the trees. It,s very rare to be bitten by one of these. We have known about it since we moved here and seen it occasionally but this time it was in the courtyard and close to my daughter"s bedroom window! It has now been relocated..."

Yes folks we live in Africa!

Whew, rather them than me. But so pleased that the mamba was safely relocated elsewhere. Well done to the residents for not panicking.
