Grahamstown National Arts Festival Well Underway

Posted Fri, 25 Jun 2010 (20 months ago)

The 2010 National Arts Festival in Grahamstown is well underway and according to those who are lucky enough to be there it's a cracker of a festival this year!

This weekend why not take a drive down to Grahamstown, even for a day if you're close enough, and catch some of the atmosphere. It's slap bang in the middle of the World Cup so if you're feeling a little football fatigue this is the perfect antidote - some art and culture!

Though I am almost certain the sounds of vuvuzelas will be heard in the streets of the picturesque town.

If you've never been to the National Arts Festival it really is a must-do. The whole city is alive with art of every conceivable form. No matter what your preference - fine art, ballet, opera, cutting edge theatre, comedy, live bands of every genre - you will be entertained out of your socks by items on both the main and fringe programmes.

We recommend you look out for:
