Giving back with Santa's Shoebox Project

Posted Thu, 6 Sep 2012 (9 months ago)

Christmas might seem a way off yet, but the good people at Santa's Shoebox Project are already hard at work getting the public to start pledging shoeboxes for the end of the year. YOU can help brighten a child's Christmas.

We may moan about the price of fuel, or the fact that we can only afford one holiday this year, but in reality, we have so much for which to be grateful. Think about what your partner, friends and family will end up spending on Christmas food and gifts this year, and then consider the relatively small sacrifice it will make to make the world a little brighter for those South African children who are less fortunate.

Thanks to the tireless work of all involved in Santa's Shoebox Project, giving back can be simple.

Visit their website and find out how you, with your friends, kids or colleagues, can pledge shoeboxes of gifts for the many children and teens who benefit from this project each year.

We can guarantee that knowing you've given to someone who can offer you nothing in return will bring joy to their lives, and make your own festive season that much sweeter.

Where to from here?
