2010 FIFA WORLD CUP TRANSPORT
GETTING TO THE GAME!
 
 
Are you in Sandton?
 
 
  • If you want to get from Sandton to the stadiums, catch Metrobus from the bus stops below. Metrobus will take you to the Westgate Transport Hub and then you must get on Rea Vaya or Metrorail ( see more below).
  • Once you return to Westgate Transport Hub you must return to the original drop off point if you came with Metrobus in order to get back to Sandton.
  • This service only runs on Match Days and from 3 and a halfhours before and after the match.
  • The Metrobus costs R50 including the cost of a Rea Vaya ticket.

Rea Vaya
 
 
  • Rea Vaya Bus Rapid Transit will take you to Ellis Park or Soccer City from centre of Johannesburg.
  • If using Rea Vaya you can board at any Rea Vaya station on the trunk route and buy your ticket at the station. Look out for the Rea Vaya stations.
  • This service operates Monday to Saturday with more buses before and after matches.

GETTING HOME
 
 
PLEASE NOTE WHERE YOU GOT OFF AND YOUR ROUTE.  You must return to the same drop off point at the stadium via the SAME ROUTE.
