Coming up in September, the picturesque Franschhoek Wine Valley, will be once again hosting the Franschhoek Uncorked festival over the weekend of 4 and 5 September. This unique spring wine meander is a multi-faceted celebration which takes place on wine farms throughout the Valley, showcasing both the renowned award-winning wineries and the smaller ‘hidden gems’.

Apart from tasting plenty of fine wine, visitors can expect a range of entertainment - from live music to farm rides for the kids to a cooking demonstrations and picnics - and of course excellent cuisine – this is the ‘gourmet capital’ of South Africa after all!
