Book Lounge December Events for Children and Adults

One of Cape Town's best loved book stored, The Book Lounge, has some great events lined up for all ages. The following info was in their latest newsletter.

December Story Time for Kids

Saturday 10th, 11am - Starry Bedtime Stories
Saturday 17th, 11am - Favourite and Festive Stories

Wednesday Story and Craft

For the last three Wednesday afternoons of the year, we will be reading some stories and doing a crafting activity. Ages about 4-10 would enjoy it:

Wednesday, 14th, 3pm: this week we will be making some summer beads and reading funny stories.
Wednesday, 21st, 3pm: Today we will make our own cards (for anyone you want to) and reading some festive stories.
Wednesday, 28th, 3pm: This is the last of our holiday activity afternoons and today we will be making our own notebooks. It is always good to have a little book to keep your thoughts and ideas in. We will cut up some pictures and make our own cover art on the books. As always, we will also read a story

Book Event for Big People

Thursday 15th December, 5-9pm - Christmas Signing @ Cafe Nood

Come and join a host of local talent to raise a glass and do your Christmas shopping without the stress! Get the authors to personalise your gift which will be beautifully wrapped by Dial-a-Surprize. R10 will be tagged on to each book for the Cape Times “library in every school” project.
